From Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea at Ella Mia, to Turkey Carving at Hudson Tavern, Mondrian Doha has made a list (and checked it twice) of festive things to do this Christmas

Doha, Qatar – November, 2024 | With just over 25 more sleeps till’ Christmas, Mondrian Doha has organised a line-up of dazzling events to ignite the festive spirit for all age groups! From your little ones, to adults – there is something for everyone this December.

While one might assume a ‘White Christmas’ is not on the cards for those celebrating at home, Ella Mia invites guests to take a step into their frozen forest of whimsically white interiors for a magical Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea. Cosy up in this festive setting and delve into an array of holiday inspired sweet treats, soothing teas and Christmas cheer from December 19th - January 10th from 2-7pm daily.

Hudson Tavern knows the true meaning of Christmas – food! And lots and lots of it! Celebrating the season from the belly, comes Hudson Tavern’s Feast, inviting guests to join them in a three-day long celebration with turkey carving, festive-themed beverages and a seriously cosy atmosphere. Whether popping down to get merry with mates or sneaking off for ‘one more’ mulled grape, guests are invited to rock around the Christmas tree from the 24th-25th December.

The build-up of excitement peaks at Patio By Walima, who is throwing the ultimate get-together on December 25th with their Festive Brunch from 1pm. Mark that calendar and bring an appetite as guests (both naughty and nice) prepare to indulge in an impressive spread of festive flavours and get merry with a variety of themed cocktails.

For the next big occasion, guests are encouraged to secure a seat at one of Mondrian Doha’s New Years parties.

Countdown to 2025 with Smoke and Mirrors and celebrate in style as Midnight Blues provides the ultimate soundtrack with a live band to guide guests through to the new year on December 31st.

Party animals should head on down to Hudson Tavern who is back again with a celebration that’ll be hard to turn down. Get in the swing of things with Jailhouse Rock! Everyone knows that those in the 50’s really knew how to party, so dig out that inner rebel, dance the night away and let the rhythm set you free, as we say goodbye to 2024 with a specially curated menu and unlimited beverage packages starting from just QAR250.

Those looking for more of a fine-dining, black tie occasion are invited to say hello to the new year in style and elegance, over a gala dinner in the newly refurbished Mondrian Ballroom. Or switch it up with a burst of culture at Morimoto for the Bushidô Samurai Night where guests will embrace tradition, savour sushi and step into 2025 like a true samurai.

With a range of celebratory events to take advantage of the season, it’s hard to go wrong with Mondrian Doha.
