There’s so much food to try, make sure you come hungry! Let us look deeper into what Riyasat has to offer. The brunch features a variety of delicious Naashta, a selection of famous Indian street chaats, salads and sharing nibbles. For vegetarians, the Kale Chips Papdi Chaat, is a crowd favourite, made of roasted sweet potato, peanuts, gram-flour hay, and minted-tamarind dip, alongside the Quinoa Peaches Salad, which includes leafy greens, toasted pumpkin seeds, walnuts- pomelo dressing make the perfect choice for starters. The curried crab “Puchka” is a refreshing twist alongside the classic Pani Puri made by chefs table side, the Burra Duck Croute is a melt in the mouth, slow roasted pulled duck leg on savoury crisps is a must try, the Mughlai Kheema Paratha is a robust spiced minced lamb and egg stuffed flaky bread served all at once in the Naashta section.

Next is the Robata and Tandoor, which is a traditional method of cooking in India, over hot charcoal predominantly a bee-hive clay oven. The Tandoor lamb seekh are minced lamb skewers, perfectly charred, served alongside some of Riyasat’s most celebrated dishes, such as the Makhan Chooza Roast, Amritsari (Tandoor roasted chicken), the Jeenga Balai, which is prawns marinated with roasted garlic, Kashmiri chilies and cream cheese. Finally, the Riyasati Tandoori Lobster, a 600-to-800-gram Indian ocean sand lobster, which is marinated and cooked to absolute perfection and cannot be missed.

More dishes that are served during brunch are the Khaas (mains) and Biryanis. Everyone’s favourite the signature Mardana Murgh is a must try. So is the Shabdegh Dal Riyasat, also refered to as “maah di daal”, which is patiently simmered lentils, creamed and buttered overnight, and is recommended for all vegetarians. In the Biryani section, the guests will have a choice to select their own prized pot of either lamb, chicken or prawn’s biryani.  Some interesting sides accompany all dishes, and they include the “Naan” which could be ordered plain, butter or garlic, the Makhni Lachcha Parantha is a layered wholewheat bread topped generously with butter and a homemade spice blend, the Khada Saag is a vegetarian delight of baby spinach and baked buffalo cheese tempered with ginger and fenugreek. Keep room for Riyasat’s Signature Dessert Selection which offers an exciting blend of classics and crowd favourites.

The Riyasati “Maharaja” masala chai, a delicate concoction of Royal tea, cardamon, dried rose, and saffron is a traditional royal ending which undoubtedly takes you back to the era of the majestic Indian estates of the 19th century.

Guests can opt for signature vegetarian options upon request. Brunch is served for QAR 255 per person including soft drinks and mocktails.
