Entertainment and big prizes on offer with Doha’s preferred destination and the Qatar Summer Festival

27, July  2019 - Doha, Qatar:   Doha Festival City, Qatar’s unique, world-class retail, entertainment and dining destination, is hosting the second Qatar Summer Festival Raffle Draw on July 26 from 7:30pm to 10pm. In addition to the much awaited second Raffle Draw, the event will feature an entertainment show and a massive balloon drop.

The entertainment show will take place from 7.30pm, featuring Gaston Quieto, the award- winning Brazilian illusionist and magician, who will wow the audience with a mesmerising magic show. The excitement continues afterwards with the raffle draw winners’ announcement. Shoppers will have the opportunity to win nine cash prizes worth a total of QR400,000. Finally, to celebrate the winners and further entertain guests, there will be a balloon drop to wrap up the festive night. 

Shoppers who would like to participate in the raffle draw or increase their chances of winning can still do so by submitting any receipts worth QAR200 or more to the Summer in Qatar counter at Doha Festival City, where they can register electronically, too. The system generates vouchers equivalent to the amount of money spent, saving the required details. If shoppers spend an additional QAR200 or more during subsequent shopping trips at Festival City, they can register again in the raffle draw with ease.

Running until August 16, Summer in Qatar brings to Doha a range of exciting experiences, along with entertainment programmes, featuring local, regional and international artists, edutainment activities, summer and sports camps, as well as special promotions on inbound travel, hospitality and shopping at various venues across Qatar.
