Doha Festival City Celebrates Back to School Season with an Amazing School Bus Interactive Installation and an Array of Exciting Offers
Between 15 and 30 August, an exclusive new range of Back to School essentials will be on offer at Qatar’s favourite shopping destination.

Doha, Qatar – 16 August 2021: Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for shopping, dining and entertainment, is pleased to announce a range of special activities and unique offers to celebrate the ‘Back to School’ season with Qatar’s community.
With schools set to open at the end of August, Doha Festival City is offering the latest Back to School collections and essentials at a plethora of stores. Running from August 15 to 30, parents can avoid the stress of last-minute Back to School shopping with a variety offers and promotions at the mall and kick-start the new school year in style.
Major retailers including Centrepoint, FNAC, Virgin, Giftshed, Borders, Skechers and Athletes Co Kids will be releasing their latest collections of school supplies, clothing and this seasons’ must haves for all children heading back to school.
Furthermore this year, the mall will have a special installation at Center Court - a large yellow school bus boasting different cabins, and highlighting key Back to School merchandise from a selection of retailers including Centrepoint, Daiso, Kipling, Mothercare, Pottery Barn Kids, Marks & Spencer, FNAC and Skechers.

Doha Festival City trading hours are from 10:00 to 00:00, with an option to trade until 01:00 for all retailers, and 02:00 for F&B outlets operating for takeaway and delivery. The Hypermarket will be open continuously from 09:00 to 00:00.
In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning, and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 225 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their green Ehteraz QR code, and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall. Following the latest government restrictions, kids below 12 years old are not allowed to enter the mall, and the mall continues to operate with overall capacity and parking spaces reduced to 30%.
