Doha, Qatar – 20 July 2021:  Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for shopping, dining and entertainment, is pleased to announce the pursuit of its month-long “Bon Appetit” food festival, the largest international in-mall event held in Doha, taking visitors on an exclusive culinary journey and offering them memorable moments through unique photo opportunities available across the mall.

Celebrating gastronomic cultures of different countries, the food event will run until July 25th. Customers who wish to participate in the raffle draw can still register online to get their digital passports. Every 50 QAR spent in any of the food outlets will earn participants a digital stamp, and with every 6 stamps, customers will receive a digital raffle draw ticket. Receipts dated between 20 June and 25 July must be scanned and sent to the dedicated WhatsApp number which can be accessed via the special links and QR codes.

Customers participating in the “Bon Appetit” raffle draw will have the chance to win gift cards worth up to QAR 500, QAR 1000, and QAR 5,000 as well as trips for two to Turkey, France, Italy, UK and the USA, or a Volvo S90 Momentum 2020 as the grand prize. Winners will be announced on July 27th during a digital ceremony under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).

The month-long food event is a great opportunity for visitors to also explore the cultural heritage of the participating countries through the exciting line-up of interactive photo opportunities and 3D displays available across the mall. The campaign booths, paying tribute to each participating country every week, will be available on weekdays from 2pm to 10pm, and from 2pm to 11 pm from Thursday to Saturday.

Robert Hall, Doha Festival City General Manager, said: “Home to over 100 international food & beverage outlets, we are honored to host the largest in-mall food event in Doha introducing our community to the diverse culinary offering at Festival City. This event would not have been possible without the support of our esteemed partners and sponsors, who have significantly contributed to producing such a unique gastronomic celebration”.

Doha Festival City trading hours are from 10:00 to 00:00, with an option to trade until 01:00 for all retailers, and 02:00 for F&B outlets operating for takeaway and delivery. The Hypermarket will be open continuously from 09:00 to 00:00.

In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning, and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 225 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.

At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their green Ehteraz QR code, and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall. Following the latest government restrictions, kids below 12 years old are not allowed to enter the mall, and the mall continues to operate with overall capacity and parking spaces reduced to 30%.
