June 07, 2021, Doha, Qatar: The Hamilton International School, part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), has launched the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education for the academic year 20212. 

 

The scholarship, which covers a full year’s tuition fee at The Hamilton International School, will be awarded to one student who has a proven track record of academic excellence and a commitment to their wider studies. 

 

“We want to encourage students who excel academically plus demonstrate a commitment to their community through community service and environmental initiatives, to apply for the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education,” said Terry Senior, Principal of The Hamilton International School

 

“We have chosen to name the scholarship the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education, in honor of Mr AlFardan’s great work in Doha. His accomplishments and contributions to society are a great inspiration and will further motivate students to apply for this award,” Mr Senior explained. 

 

As the Vice Chairman of the family owned AlFardan Group, Mr Ali AlFardan has been instrumental in driving the groups unmatched growth and progress. Under his expert leadership, AlFardan Jewelry has become an exclusive distributor of some of the most prominent and iconic jewelry and watch brands. Mr Ali AlFardan is also an avid sports enthusiast and has organized many local sports events such as Tennis and Squash tournaments.

 

In addition to the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education, the school will again offer the prestigious Hamilton Principal’s Award.  This award, now in its second year, recognizes a current student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and provides them with a scholarship of 50% of their tuition fees.
