Doha, Qatar – 18 March 2021: Seib Insurance and Reinsurance Company has announced the launch of the first Seib Al Massiya Golf Tournament to be held on the 19th of March 2021 at the Education City Golf Club.

The Seib Al Massiya Golf Tournament is organized by Education City Golf Club, which is home to the Centre of Excellence, carrying the most advanced facilities in the world to learn golf in Qatar.

The tournament gathers amateur golfers from the club and around Doha to learn about Seib Insurance & Reinsurance’s advanced healthcare coverage plan - Massiya - which brings to the forefront a new experience of individual and family medical insurance for the first time in Qatar. The plan includes global coverage, premium benefits, a dedicated concierge desk and service flexibility. 

The tournament will offer invitees the chance to engage in a friendly competition while practicing and widening their game experience. In addition, exclusive leagues will run for amateur golfers with separate men and women’s sessions to ensure both comfort and flexibility. Simultaneously, Education City Golf Club will host golf lessons where participants will have the opportunity to learn from the PGA Professionals about the sport while enjoying the game.

The tournament activities will follow stringent precautionary measures including social distancing, mandatory use of masks, and checking of EHTERAZ to be in line with the safety regulations outlined by government entities.
