In its December episodes, Festival Fashion TV highlights Doha Festival City’s last month’s Fashion Shows, explores modest fashion with Rowayda Kawji and features stunning special occasion dresses with Maria Betty Mansour
 
Doha, Qatar – 21 December 2020:  Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for fashion, dining, and entertainment, concludes 2020 with three new FFTV episodes, showcasing the diversity of Qatar’s Fashion culture and Doha Festival City’s offer, as well as the exciting memories of November’s Fashion Festival. 


December 13th episode presented a recap of Doha Festival City’s Fashion Month featuring the latest Fall-Winter collections across casual, office, evening, special occasion, and modest fashion. The episode showcased a series of interviews conducted with the Fashion Show guests where they shared their impressions and excitement about the first fashion shows held in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, marking Doha Festival City’s post-crisis return to Qatar’s fashion events’ scene.


For its December 20th episode, FFTV invited Rowayda Kawji, a modest fashion creator and connoisseur to visit Kashkha, a leading modest fashion retailer. Rowayda shared her insights on modest fashion trends, explored Kashkha’s latest Fall-Winter collection, showcasing the brands’ diverse offer of hijabs and outfits for everyday and special occasions. Founded three decades ago, Kashkha offers affordable and stylish outfits for self-confident muslimas, providing a large choice of hijabs and scarfs, jalabiyas and dresses, kimonos, trousers, and nightwear. Its recent collection features “Let it Sparkle” and “Golden Delightful” lines, allowing shoppers to find the perfect modest outfit for any special occasion. 


The last episode of 2020 will be released on December 27th, hosted by Lebanese influencer Maria Betty Mansour. She will explore Aura, a luxury store offering evening and special occasion stunning dresses. She will also share her inspiration for the most splendid New Year’s outfit to ring in 2021 in style. A multi-brand store, Aura has a selection from the most renown international designers and for all types of special occasions, including weddings, gala dinners, and red-carpet events. Aura is part of the Bianca Nera Group, that holds several renowned brands and more than 25 branches across the world.

December’s series perfectly reflect the diversity of Qatar’s community, its tastes, and styles, in addition to sharing the recap of our biggest 2020 Fashion highlight – Doha Festival City’s Fashion Month. The first year of FFTV has been a success, and we will continue presenting new episodes in 2021, discovering our unique offer and the most fashionable personalities to the Qatar community”.

 

Doha Festival City is home to more than 430 fashion and beauty retailers, including brands that have made their debut in Qatar exclusively at Doha Festival City. Through offering a myriad of brands, unique offering, and loyalty programmes, Doha Festival City is committed to bringing the ultimate fashion experience to its shoppers, with the latest collections brought exclusively to Qatar, and a unique offer of dining and entertainment. 
 
Doha Festival City opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 10 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am to 11pm. Children of all ages are now allowed to enter the mall. In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning, and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 127 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
