The new parking area can now accommodate 165 cars and provides seemless access for visitors to the Luxury area and Edge Fitness Gym at the Mall

Doha, Qatar – 16 August 2020: Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for shopping, is pleased to announce the expansion of its car parking capacity to cater to the increasing number of visitors to their favorite shopping destination.

The new parking area can accommodate 165 cars, providing easy access for visitors to the Luxury Area and newly launched full purpose gym, Edge Fitness at the Mall, as well as an easy exit route from the Mall to the Al Shamal Road during rush hours.

Spread over 7,047 sqm, the parking at Doha Festival City is accessible for all visitors, boasting 17 valet service locations that are all shaded.

Visitors can access the new available parking area from the southwest zone of the Mall, adjacent to the main entrance from the Ground Floor and West Court Lobby Q from the Lower Ground.

Doha Festival City’s opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 10 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am to 11pm.

All outlets within our two food courts still welcome home delivery and takeaways. Entertainment including Cinema and play areas will remain closed. Children under 12 are still excluded from entering the Mall until further notice.

In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 127 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.

At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their green Ehteraz QR code, and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall. Physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunication kiosks and branches and various retail shops were installed to help shoppers keep the required physical distance as set forth in the guidelines by the authorities. Stores will provide sanitizers on entry and at cash points to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
