10 August 2020, Doha, Qatar: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced a seasonal offer to reward its customers on summer and back to school purchases performed through the bank’s different type of cards. QIB cardholders will have the opportunity to earn up to 10,000 additional Absher Rewards and Qmiles Points on their local and international spends. The campaign will run until 31st of August 2020.

Customers will get additional reward points or bonus Qmiles for each individual transaction above QR 1,000. Depending on the value of the transaction they will earn 20%, 50% or 100% additional reward points. The maximum amount of additional reward points is limited to 10,000 points per card”

Absher Rewards points can be redeemed for a variety of purchase options, including shopping from all Al Meera supermarkets and hypermarkets, paying for Kahramaa, Vodafone and Ooredoo bills, booking flight tickets from over 900 airlines, booking hotel rooms from over 450,000 hospitality properties and renting cars from more than 150,000 car rental offices in 150 cities around the world and online shopping. Earned Qmiles can be redeemed for Qatar Airways flight tickets, upgrades, and purchases made at Qatar Duty Free.

As part of the campaign, top 1,000 customers’ cardholders will get a free subscription to QIB-MyBook App, offering exclusive ‘Buy 1 get 1 Free’ options from over 1,500 stores in Qatar including restaurants, coffee shops, health and fitness centers, hotels, and other retailers.
