Doha Festival City Calls All Artists to Participate in Exclusive Ramadan-Themed Virtual Gallery
- The #QatarUnitesUs Ramadan-themed virtual gallery is Doha Festival City’s community-driven initiative to support creativity amongst both amateur and professional artists alike.
- Selected local designers and artist creative artworks will have the opportunity to “Put their Creativity on Display”, replicating a real art gallery shopping experience
Doha, Qatar – 30 April 2020: In support of #StandwithCreatives campaign, Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for shopping and entertainment, is pleased to announce the launch of its community-driven initiative targeted to all artists in Qatar in an opportunity to showcase their Artwork in Ramadan-themed virtual gallery.
Under the umbrella of Doha Festival City’s ongoing #QatarUnitesUs community initiative, both established and up-and-coming artists will have the opportunity to get their artwork published on the mall’s highly-viewed platforms such as their website and social media channels, and enjoy the opportunity to put their creativity on display.
Doha Festival City encourages everyone in Qatar to submit their Ramadan-themed artworks, whether it’s a painting, photography, digital art or calligraphy starting from 1st May 2020. Participants can submit their artwork on the link: https://forms.gle/7ZEk4yDqHeZTVegc6. Deadline for submission is 10th May 2020.
All submitted artwork will be reviewed and selected carefully by designated team from Doha Festival City. Once successful, the selected artworks will be posted on Doha Festival City’s dedicated #QatarUnitesUs virtual gallery on their website www.dohafestivalcity.com as well as social media channels between 11th – 15th May with full credit to the artists in an effort to provide them the exposure and recognition that they deserve.
Successful applicants must ensure all artworks are themed under “Ramadan in Qatar”, mentioning the artist’s name and supported by a statement in both English and Arabic languages along with the artwork title and description. Participants should also provide high-quality pictures or scans of their artwork, their social media handles, and website URL (if applicable).

With more than 430 stores open at Doha Festival City and more than 100 places offering food and beverages, shoppers are spoilt for choice. There are 46 brands exclusive to Doha Festival City in Qatar.
