Doha, Qatar, 26 September 2019:  Doha Festival City, Qatar's preferred and world-class destination for entertainment, has partnered with the Local Organising Committee of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 to host a World Athletic Championship competition for children. 

The event is currently taking place until 3 October 2019, at a Mini Khalifa Stadium in the Centre Court on the First Floor at Doha Festival City

The venue is open daily, from 2pm to 10pm on weekdays, and until 11pm from Thursdays to Saturdays, welcoming children to play and enjoy a variety of athletics activities including jumping, throwing, relay races, sprints and hurdles.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, experienced coaches will be on the ground to offer training sessions for three hours at each pit, while on weekends children will compete against each other to win medals. 

On the 3rd of October there will be a meet and greet with the IAAF ambassadors, Ashton Eaton and Mike Powell, at 2pm. The visit will be taking place at the mini athletic activation area.
