21 September 2019 Doha, Qatar:  To mark the new academic year and to celebrate the recently opened, state-of-the-art campus in Al Themaid, Compass International School – Doha is hosting Open Day activities on 21 September from 9am to 12pm at its newest campus in the Al Themaid area of Doha. The event which is open to the public, invites families to enjoy a variety of activities and to learn more about the programmes offered across the four Compass International School campuses in Doha.

From STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) activities, to sport, and from Lego to Origami and mask making – attendees of all ages will enjoy a wide variety of engaging and stimulating activities. Parents will have the opportunity to meet the teachers, the Head of Campus and the Executive Principal, Mr. Paul Holyome, and learn more about the curricula offered at the school. There will be light refreshments served in the cafeteria and a photo booth will be available to capture a souvenir of the day.

Admissions staff will be on hand to take visitors on a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities at the new Themaid campus, which opened its doors to students on the 15th of September. The new campus includes outstanding facilities including science laboratories, auditorium, 25-metre swimming pool, music practice rooms, specialist design areas, performing arts and athletics spaces and more.

Commenting on the event, Ann Djedid, Head of Themaid Campus said: “We are delighted to welcome families to the Open Day at our newest campus.
