Doha, Qatar - 23 February 2025: Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Q.P.S.C.), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, proudly reaffirms its commitment to Qatar’s economic growth with the launch of National Product Week under the slogan ‘From Us, For Us’, running from February 23 to March 1, 2025.

This initiative underscores Al Meera’s unwavering dedication to empowering Qatari products and industries, championing homegrown businesses, and promoting self-sufficiency in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The initiative was officially launched at Al Meera's Umm Al Seneem/Ain Khaled Branch. Attendees from Al Meera included Mr. Roger Ferzli, Acting CEO, and other executive management; and from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Hassan Al Ghanim, Assistant Undersecretary for Consumer Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Al Sayed, Director of the National Product Competitiveness Support Department, and Mr. Jassim Al Kuwari, Head of the National Product Competitiveness Support Department; as well as Al Meera customers.

To mark this special occasion, the launch event was transformed into a dynamic and engaging celebration, featuring an array of activations designed to showcase the best of Qatari products.

Customers were treated to an immersive shopping experience with exclusive food sampling stations, interactive activations by local vendors, and live tastings from Al Meera’s fresh sections. These experiences not only highlighted the quality and variety of locally produced goods but also provided a unique opportunity for customers to engage directly with Qatari entrepreneurs and brands.
