Al Khaliji Donates to Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs
Doha, Qatar, 28 April 2021 – Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C., Qatar’s next generation bank, has announced, in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, a donation to the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs, represented by Mr. Talib Afifa, Member of the Board of Directors, This comes as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility programme and a longstanding commitment to persons of special needs.
The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs is a non-profit organisation which aims at the social, mental, academic, and healthy rehabilitation of people with special needs in a way that is commensurate with the Islamic principles, traditions, customs, and peculiarities of the Qatari society. The Society provides care to all residents of the State of Qatar in an equal manner and irrespective of financial level.
Commenting on the donation, Rana Al Asaad
Head of Personal Banking, at al khaliji, stated:
“We proudly support the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs for their extremely valuable work towards the welfare of our communities, especially during Ramadan. Their mission has contributed heavily to the wider social, physical, and mental wellbeing of the Qatari society over the years.
