Doha, Qatar, September 8, 2019  – Michelin star chef Javier Aranda returns to Doha this week for “An evening with Michelin Star Chef Javier Aranda” at El Faro, the Spanish cuisine restaurant, which was recently revamped to reflect Javier’s love and passion for Spanish culinary in his heritage.  

For two nights, 12 and 13 September, Chef Javier will be in the restaurant, to welcome guests and introduce El Faro by Javier Aranda to the people of Qatar, bringing them authentic Spanish flavours. 

The refreshed restaurant menu offers a new concept with an exclusive and stylish setting, featuring the “tapas and pinxtos bar”, and a tantalizing menu with innovative items in the main seating area offering highlights and unique blends from across the Iberian Peninsula in a contemporary interpretation.

Chef Javier Aranda is considered a key figure in the industry, in addition to being one of the youngest Michelin awarded Chefs and a rising star in the Spanish culinary scene, he has two venues in Madrid namely La Cabra and Gaytán, and he is adamant to bring Doha the tastes of his country intertwined with his signature flare.

Chef Javier Aranda said: “I am very happy to be back to Doha for this special event at El Faro. I am looking forward to welcoming our guests personally and to give them a unique culinary experience in this cozy Spanish corner in Qatar.”

Opening its doors daily from 5pm, the restaurant offers guests special weekly promotions such as Viva La Noche (Long Live the Night), Chicas Night, Paella Night and Tapas Locas (all you can eat Tapas) as well as the specially created al a carte menu by Javier Aranda. On Saturdays, El Faro opens for lunch from 12.30pm to 2pm.
