Pearl Social Celebrates Grand Opening with International Chef and Restaurateur Jason Atherton

Doha, Qatar, June 24, 2019:   Pearl Social celebrated the grand opening of their restaurant and bar, The Divers Club, with a special guest appearance by the renowned international chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton at a star-studded VIP celebration yesterday at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha.

Jason Atherton, founder of ‘The Social Company,’ a global restaurant group, spoke to guests about his vision for Pearl Social. Attended by various dignitaries, socialites, members of business associations, corporates and media and influencers, guests were able to enjoy a selection of dishes and small bites from the new menu, enjoy the relaxed setting of Pearl Social and socialise with the notable communities of Doha. 

Pearl Social is a modern British restaurant that offers a superlative dining experience at a spectacular waterfront location. On its upper floor, guests can enjoy The Diver’s Club, where they can savour creative cocktails and mocktails and gather for an evening out. 

Chef Jason Atherton said: “I am delighted to be here launching the newest member of the Social Company. Pearl Social is exactly as its name suggests – a place where everyone can come and enjoy delicious food and drink in a sociable environment.”

Mélanie Moncho, General Manager of Pearl Social and The Diver’s Club, said: “This is an exciting start for us! The Social brand is all about putting the fun back into dining and that’s exactly what we aim to achieve with Pearl Social and especially tonight at our Grand Opening.”

Pearl Social brings to Doha an extensive menu with a selection of modern international and British inspired dishes: from pastas and risottos to seafood, grilled meats and sharing plates. There are also traditional British roasts on Saturdays and Sundays, the Social Brunch every Friday, as well as a Ladies Night on Tuesdays, the hearty Steak Nights on Wednesday and Happy Hour, Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to 9pm.
