Doha: 21 March, 2018 -   As part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans to be able to serve every area in Qatar, and in line with its commitment to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country, Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” opened New Salata petrol station on 18th March, which is the second station that WOQOD newly opened in 2018, and by this increasing its network of various petrol stations to 60. 

WOQOD’s CEO, Eng. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: “WOQOD aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. WOQOD is currently engaged in 28 petrol station projects, most of these projects are expected to be operational this year.”

New Salata is spread over an area of 9,634.43 square meters and offers round-the-clock services to residents of New Salata area, includes Sidra convenience store, auto wash facility, auto repair, tire services, sale of LPG cylinders in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products and also serve school buses.
The station is also equipped with WOQOD’s unique RFID based electronic payment service (WOQODe).
