Doha, Qatar - 12 November 2017:  Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C., Qatar’s next generation bank, has provided support to the Qatar Orphan Foundation “Dreama”. This comes within the framework of the Bank's social responsibility program, and to serve common humanitarian issues, in support of Dreama’s efforts. The support was delivered by Mr. Hamad Al Kubaisi, the Group’s Head of Human Resources and Administrative affairs, and Ms. Rana Ahmad Al Assaad, Head of Personal Banking, during their visit to Dreama. Mr. Ahmed Hussain, Head of Support Services Department, received support on behalf of Dreama. Al Khaliji is keen on advancing its social responsibility program, and is always committed to supporting human development within the community, emanating from the bank’s core values of achieving the human development pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

A number of non-profit organizations have benefited from the social responsibility activities and initiatives established by al Khaliji, in addition to the Bank’s support of a wide range of charitable activities within the country. The cooperation between the Qatar Orphan Foundation “Dreama” and Al Khalij Commercial Bank is one of the strategic objectives of the Center for the continuous development of capacities in line with the progressive development in the field of humanitarian work, which directly fuels the empowerment of orphans and emphasizes that the responsibility of caring for orphans is not the responsibility of Dreama alone, but of society as a whole, and that children are an integral part of the community and have enormous capabilities and potential that motivate them to serve their beloved country of Qatar.

It is worth mentioning that the Qatar Orphan Foundation “Dreama” is the leading center for the care and integration of orphans. In line with the mission of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, the Orphan Care Center contributes to providing the necessary care for the target groups in Qatar, helping them settle with their foster families, and integrating them into the community. We are also committed to serve the target group with the following values: responsibility, privacy, equality, and participation.
