DOHA, Qatar – 12 September 2017:  In light of its ongoing successes, Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), in cooperation with the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority 

and the country’s banking sector, is launching the new academic term of its Kawader program for the fifth consecutive year, which kicked off on September 10 and will conclude on December 14, 2017.

Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdulla Al-Emadi, Acting CEO of QFBA, said: 
'This edition comes in the context of continuing the remarkable success of the Kawader program in its previous terms, with the launch of the new academic term in September, where a number of talented Qatari students will be enrolling to acquire the latest knowledge in the fields of finance and business, in addition to practical training in order to hone their skills and potential, paving the way for them to assume key positions in the vital financial services sector in Qatar and become successful professionals, entrepreneurs and decision-makers.”

He added: “The investment in the younger generations comes within the framework of Qatar’s human capital development, which is a key pillar in the development of the national economy, in addition to its importance as a sustainable source of providing the finance and business sector with qualified professional talents capable of keeping up with the latest developments and practices in the world of modern economics, as well as dealing with the constantly evolving market requirements.”

At the QFC, we take pride in QFBA’s Kawader program, which is dedicated towards shaping Qatar’s young business and financial leaders and helping to ensure a successful future for our nation.'

In its fifth edition, the ‘Kawader’ program will feature 31 newly graduated Qatari students and talented young professionals who will undergo a three-month intensive training course designed to develop their skills, boost their experience, and develop their personalities and professional capacities.

The ‘Kawader’ program adopts a unique approach that combines theoretical and vocational training in the workplace, giving students an in-depth look at the institutions of the financial services sector in which they are poised to be recruited in the future, thereby empowering them to contribute to the development of these institutions, enhance their professional careers and effectively participate in accelerating the wheel of economic development in Qatar, towards the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030. Participants will receive three professional qualifications awarded by recognized international organizations.
