November 07, 2015: Alfardan Group has recently concluded its successful participation at this year’s Civil Defence Exhibition and Conference held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The Group’s major subsidiaries, Alfardan Properties and Alfardan Automobiles, demonstrated the Group’s long-standing support and commitment to Qatar’s civil defence and national safety and security at the exhibition.

Hussain Alfardan, Chairman of Alfardan Group, attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony along with the Group’s senior management. During the event, the participating subsidiaries showcased their ongoing initiatives to promote and ensure the well-being of individuals and local communities. They emphasized their strict compliance with safety laws and regulations as an integral part of their respective main business operations and strategic objectives.   

Alfardan Properties displayed scale models of its superior, high-end development projects. The property developer ensures a safe and secure environment across its luxury residential and commercial properties by regularly holding emergency response training programs and other significant awareness campaigns to encourage vigilance among tenants.

Alfardan Automobiles, on the other hand, capitalized on the event’s wide reach to feature the BMW i8 and its passenger safety solutions along with its optimized performance, maximum efficiency and dynamics, and top-of-the-line craftsmanship. The BMW i8 is the first sports car with the consumption and emission values of a compact car.

Alfardan Sports Motors, which operates under Alfardan Automobiles, also took part in the event by showcasing the Maserati GranTurismo Sport with Etea SICUREZZA, an Italian engineering company specializing in the field of buildings protection and industrial safety. The GranTurismo Sport is equipped with advanced settings for desirable performance and the highest levels of safety to ensure maximum protection for all those onboard.

Previously, the Qatar Civil Defence Department honored Alfardan Group with a Certificate of Excellence for Alfardan Towers and a Certificate of Thanks and Appreciation for the business conglomerate’s safety awareness initiatives. Alfardan Towers was given an ‘Excellent’ score in the evaluation conducted by the Inspection Committee of the Qatar Civil Defence’s Fire Prevention Department; a recognition reflecting its full commitment to well-established security practices.

The award highlights the Group’s consistent adherence to the most stringent safety measures across its business units in support of the government’s national security goals.
