Dubai, 5th December, 2016:  Centrepoint, the region’s largest fashion retailer, is renowned for the breadth of its fashion and cosmetics product range. The popular retailer caters to the mid-market segment across the Middle East and houses homegrown concepts, Babyshop, Splash, Shoe Mart and Lifestyle, under its umbrella. Centrepoint has now announced the introduction of a sunglass concept, titled Eyeworks within its overall offering.

Eyeworks was originally established in 1997 to supply house brand sunglasses, namely Occhiali and Brand X, to the Landmark concepts of Splash and Shoemart. The introduction of world class brands such as Ray-Ban and Prada, earlier this year, have enabled Eyeworks to see a rise in customer numbers and revenue, making the concept an attractive addition to Centrepoint. The retailer has since launched Eyeworks within two of its most popular UAE based locations at Mall of Emirates and Midriff City Centre.

Eyeworks is set to expand within the top 50 Centrepoint stores in the region by the end of 2017 and within the top 100 Centrepoint stores by the end of 2018 and add more brands to its offering along the way.

Deepak Kalwani, Managing Director of Eyeworks, is passionate about the brand’s partnership with Centrepoint. “We are honoured to be associated with Landmark, the premier retail company in the MENA region, for the exciting launch and expansion of Eyeworks at Centrepoint. We feel confident of our success within the prominent retail format and are looking forward to being an integral part of the Centrepoint offering,” said Mr. Kalwani.

Eyeworks draws in customers with its collection of Ray-Ban and other brands and offers the top-selling ranges at competitive best prices. This is in line with Centrepoint’s overall product and pricing strategy that continues to wow customers across the region.

Manu Jeswani, CEO of Centrepoint, said, “At Centrepoint we aim to cater to our customers through a holistic and attractively-priced offering. We see Eyeworks as an exciting and lucrative addition to our portfolio. Since its launch, we have witnessed an extremely positive reaction from our customers who have been appreciative of Eyeworks range of world class brands such as Ray-Ban that are now available at their favourite shopping destination, Centrepoint.”
